Jabra BT530

Jabra’s recently announced BT530 Bluetooth headset is the first device to use GN Netcom’s Noise Blackout technology. The idea behind Noise Blackout is to use a proprietary combination of dual-microphones, DSP technology, and what GN Netcom calls “Audio Shock Protection.” The end result is the (near) perfect sound that cancels out background noise without affecting voice quality.

As for the device itself, the Jabra BT530 is a single-ear Bluetooth headset, which also supports A2DP for stereo sound. It weighs 9.9g (.35oz) and its battery promises to deliver up to 5.5 hours of talk time.

As you can see from the image, the BT530 looks quite simple, though simplistic lines make it look kinda classy. The Jabra’s headset should start selling anytime soon at an estimated retail price of $99.99.
