A lot really happened over the last couple of days. I was so damn ill that I haven’t been writing since Monday. But I’m back to defend all the right (that’s Symbian) values.
First, Nokia released a simple-looking candybar smartphone – 6120 Classic, a device that no one would say is fast as hell (sports an HSDPA radio). Then, we also saw a new 8800 Sirocco from Nokia, but this time dressed in 18-carat gold plating. The lack of functionality is easily compensated with all the gold. 🙂
Finally, the Finnish giant announced S60 widgets. Despite the fact that we’ve already seen several mobile widget solutions, some of them even coming from Nokia (WidSets) — what distinguishes this announcement is that this time Nokia promises a desktop-like widgets gone mobile. In other words, Nokia bets that millions of new applications could be available within a year for the new platform.
Now, back to mocking Will and his WinMo things. Will, man – what about stability? I haven’t seen any responses from you man? Yeah it’s nice to see HTC rising, but I still want your comment on stability. Spill it out! 🙂
I’m exhausted. Still have to rest. Arguing with Will, and writing such words as “WinMo” and “HTC” always gets me dizzy. Stay tuned… 🙂
