SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows Mobile updated to include support for new smartphones

While BlackBerry users still wait for the first beta version of SlingPlayer Mobile to appear, Sling Media has updated its Windows Mobile app to include support for the latest devices running Microsoft’s mobile OS. The new version of SlingPlayer Mobile for WinMo adds support for the following screen resolutions — 800×480, 640×480, 400×240, 320×320 pixels — and consequently for all the phones with such screens (or at least we think so). This includes such devices as HTC Touch Diamond, Touch Pro, Touch HD, Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, Palm Treo Pro and many others.

I haven’t been able to try the new SlingPlayer Mobile out as I don’t own a single Windows Mobile-powered devices. If any one of you folks with VGA/WVGA-screen equipped smartphone give it a try, we’re eager to hear your thoughts. Comments form is all yours…
