Aside from having the distinction of featuring the largest touchscreen display in all of HTC’s smartphone lineup, the HTC Touch HD’s high-resolution display bests its smaller-screened brethren with an improved version of HTC’s TouchFLO 3D interface. The HTC Touch HD’s TouchFLO 3D interface sports more panes, offering access to stock prices and a pane manager. But, that doesn’t mean HTC Touch Pro and HTC Touch Diamond owners have to miss out on the TouchFLO 3D-fun.

The always enterprising developers over at xda-developers have found a way to port the HTC Touch HD’s TouchFLO 3D UI to the Touch Pro and Touch Diamond. Installation is a simple matter of installing a .cab file containing the new TouchFLO 3D payload and then installing a second .cab file aimed at fixing bugs.

You’ll find all files and directions for installing the HTC Touch HD TouchFLO 3D interface on your Touch Pro or Touch Diamond over at xda-developers.

Please note, there are some issues with certain handsets. You’ll want to check out the entire thread before installing, just to cover your bases.
