There was some speculation that Chinese Manufacturer Huawei would be unveiling an Android handset for 2009, and now we’ve got hard and fast confirmation that a UMTS phone will be shown off at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month as a part of their “Mobile U-Life” exhibit. Considering Huawei’s only North American phone is the entry-level M318 on MetroPCS, it might be safe to say their Android device will be staying in China, but you can always hope, right? Huawei joins the ranks of Samsung, who is also planning on launching an Android phone at MWC. Who knows what other Android goodies await us at the show…
