OxyBook and OxyFile get an update

Some time ago we wrote about Oxygen Software’s two freeware applications – OxyBook and OxyFile. An updated, version 1.1 of both apps has been released bringing several improvements.

Here’s what’s new in both apps:

  • Added preliminary support for Vertu Signature 2008.
  • Added support for new Windows Mobile smartphones: Asus P552w, Psion Teklogix Ikon, Socket Mobile SoMo 650 DX, Paragon Wireless Hipi-2300, Palm Treo Pro, Hewlett-Packard iPaq 111 Classic, iPaq 211 Enterprise, HTC Tytn-II, HTC Touch Dual, HTC Touch Cruise, HTC P3300, HTC P3400, HTC P3470, HTC Advantage X7500, Advantage X7501, Advantage X7510, E-Ten Glofish X610, Glofish X900 and Samsung SGH-i900 (read-only).
  • Added support for classic Samsung phones based on Swift and Sysol platforms (read-only).
  • Added support for Nokia Series 40 models: Nokia 2680 Slide, Nokia 6600 Slide, Nokia 6212 Classic, Nokia 6122 classic, Nokia 6260 Slide, Nokia 7100 Supernova, Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte, Nokia 3610 Fold, Nokia 7310 Supernova, Nokia 7510 Supernova, Nokia 7610 Supernova, Nokia 7210 Supernova, Nokia 1680 Classic, Nokia 7100 Supernova, Nokia 8208, Nokia 2605, Nokia 2608, Nokia 6263 and Nokia 5130 XpressMusic.
  • Added support for Nokia Series 60 smartphones: Nokia E63, Nokia 6122 classic, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia E66, Nokia N85, Nokia 6124 Classic and LG KT-615.
  • Added preliminary support for CDMA Windows Mobile communicators: AnyDATA ASP-505 A, AnyDATA ASP-500 GA, HTC Touch CDMA, HTC Mogul 6800, Audiovox 6700/XV6700, Verizon Wireless XV6900, Verizon Wireless XV6800, Verizon Wireless SMT5800, Verizon Wireless PN-820, Sharp W-ZERO3 (WS004SH), Palm Treo 800w, Palm Treo 700w, Palm Treo 700wx and unlocked Samsung SPH-i325 (Sprint Ace ) (read-only).
  • Added preliminary support for Blackberry Curve 8900, BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Bold series (read-only).
  • Added support for classic Sony Ericsson C905 and G502 phones (read-only).
  • Connection: Fixed problem with Vertu phones connection.
  • Desktop: All disks are now shown for Nokia Series 40 5th Edition phones; Fixed error with phone clocks synchronization.
  • General: Fixed keyboard language switching in

New in OxyBook v.1.1:

  • Added phonebook photos management in vCard form.
  • Added support for phonebook photos for BlackBerry phones.
  • Speed Dials are now updated when the contact is changed.
  • Series 40 contacts are displayed correctly in phonebook grid now.

New in OxyFile v.1.1:

  • Added file system (internal memory and flash card) reading feature for Windows Mobile smartphones and communicators.
  • Reading files via Infrared connection is not supported for Nokia Series 40 v.2.0, 3.0 and 5.0 phone models.
  • Fixed ‘Proceed to’ actions for Series 40 and Series 60 phone models: default favorite folders are opened correctly now.
  • Fixed AV bug on gallery navigation and refresh if there three or more files selected.
