Remember that Google Mobile App for the Apple iPhone? Well, the search giant decided to bring its offering to the Windows Mobile world, enabling quick access to Google’s apps and services to the WinMo handset owners.

If you have a smartphone that runs Microsoft’s mobile OS, simply visit m.google.com/search on your mobile phone, follow instructions provided on the screen and install the application. Once that step is completed, you will be able to perform faster Google searches directly from Today screen, without opening a web browser. Even better, you can configure a hardware key (Settings: Buttons) to provide easy access from within any application on your phone.

According to Google folks, users can expect to get their search results nearly 50% faster from Google Mobile App than from navigating to google.com in the mobile browser. Don’t believe it? Check out the video bellow.

But, before we proceed to video, let me add that Google Mobile App works on right about any Windows Mobile phone, and that it’s available for users in the US, UK, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, and Germany. And now the video. Enjoy!
