Motorola i580 in yellow

Sprint has added a new color option to its existing iDEN handset, Motorola i580, and it’s yellow. Actually the official naming says it’s “highly visible yellow,” which I guess should point to the fact that you won’t lose this device that easy.

As we said in the title, the Moto i580 is rugged clamshell, certified to Military Standard 810 F for shock, vibration, dust, solar radiation, extreme temperatures, low pressure, blowing rain, salt fog and humidity. Rest of the specs include 1.9-inch 176×220 pixels screen, small external screen, push-to-talk capability (Nextel Direct Connect), Bluetooth, GPS, 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD memory card slot, and a 1130 mAh battery that promises to deliver up to 200 minutes of talk time.

Sprint is selling the yellow  Motorola i580 for $119 with a two-year contract.
