Web version of Ovi Mail

Web version of Ovi Mail got a minor update. Version 1.1 adds new languages to the mix, and now the service is available in total of 12 languages — including UK English, US English, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malay, Bengali, French, German, Hindi, Tagalog, Portugese (Brazil), Portugese (Portugal), Spanish.

Moreover, Nokia has fixed a number of bugs and have improved overall user experience. For example:

  • “Compose” now has a new default font, headings, and bold, italic and underline formatting
  • URLs are now clickable links
  • Email address auto-complete now works and there’s also an option to add multiple addresses by separating them with semicolon
  • You can now display contacts by either first or last name in your address book

Best of all, they keep listening, so don’t hesitate to send any feedback you may have to the Ovi Mail team. They’ll make sure to implement any smart ideas along the way. 😉
