T-Mobile picking up HTC Snap without Inner Circle?

The HTC Snap was one of the hotter product launches at CTIA Wireless 2009. With its slim-line profile, full QWERTY keyboard and Inner Circle email management feature, the HTC Snap is a messaging addict’s right-hand, uh, handset. So, it should come as no surprise that the HTC Snap S522 is headed to T-Mobile as the successor to the T-Mobile Dash, or so we hear.

Unfortunately, we’re also hearing that the T-Mobile Snap (or T-Mobile Dash 3G, or whatever they end up calling it) will launch without the new “Inner Circle” feature that we’ve come to appreciate. The Inner Circle feature helps keep you in constant touch with emails from your closest friends and family. Inner Circle monitors all your email accounts for email messages from previously selected contacts – your “inner circle,” as it were – and collects all those emails into one convenient inbox.

Windows Mobile developer has apparently gotten his hands on a final version of the Windows Mobile ROM that’s expected to ship to with the T-Mobile Snap (Dash 3G) and it seems the code has been stripped of all Inner Circle references. The absence is surprising, since the Inner Circle feature wouldn’t clash with T-Mobile’s bottom line in any way.

Of course, we could still see Inner Circle making it to T-Mobile…
