Nokia plans to launch its first GPS- and HSDPA-enabled
handset, the N95, in Taiwan in February of 2007, according to sources
at Nokia Taiwan.

The N95, which has built-in map
information of 100 countries, will be incorporated with more local map
information when launched in Taiwan, the sources said.

In
addition, about half of Nokia’s N-series handsets to be launched in
2007 will support the HSDPA (high speed downlink packet access)
standard, the sources added.

Nokia also plans to
introduce its new PND (portable navigation device), the 330, in the
local market in the first quarter or the second quarter of 2007,
indicated the sources.

Which means I should definitely be playing with this at CES! Can’t wait!
