Nokia Launches Intellisync Mobile Suite in Singapore

Nokia Singapore has unveiled Intellisync range of software which delivers push mobile e-mail, manages security and device provisioning, and sends instant messages to over 100 device types, Nokia said in a statement.

The Intellisync solutions offered by Nokia operate on nearly all mobile devices platforms, including Symbian OS, Microsoft Pocket PC, Palm OS, and BREW.
According to Nokia, the Intellisync Mobile Suite offers a range of features including Intellisync Wireless E-mail, Intellisync File Sync and Intellisync Data Sync, and Intellisync Device Management.

Nokia has appointed Azure Technologies, Nexwave and LGA as its local channel partners to distribute Intellisync Mobile Suite modules in Singapore.

Not much to say on this, this is yet another high end corporate feature. Simple users don’t want things like this. They want a portal to their. A web browser on every phone will fix this indeed, once this semester is over I’m going to try and put together a team. I want to build an application around this whole idea of making the phone the center of your life, not your PC.
