GCF reveals Samsung GT-I8000 Windows Mobile smartphone

Thanks to the Global Certification Forum (GCF), we know Samsung is working on a new Windows Mobile smartphone. It’s the model GT-I8000, on which we have very few details to share. We know it will come with a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) along with tri-band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (1800/1900/2100 MHz). In addition, there will be a WiFi radio on board and the device will ship with Windows Mobile 6.1, which will most likely be upgradable to 6.5 when available.

And that’s about all we know at this stage. Hopefully, Samsung will release some additional information in the meantime. One thing we would like to see included in the mix is the WVGA touchscreen. Do you have have any ideas what would you like to see on the Samsung GT-I8000? Comments form is all yours…
