Mobidapter to offer quick and easy transfer of data between a phone and USB flashdrive

Elan Mobidapter

You know how it goes. You either need to connect your phone to a PC or to pull out a microSD card from the device and insert it to a memory card reader/slot in order to read data stored on your handset. It can be quite annoying, especially if you’re doing this frequently. No more, thanks to a neat accessory called Mobidapter.

It’s a small device which on one side can be inserted into a microSD memory card slot of your phone and on the other it has a USB slot. Put it in your phone and pop a USB flash drive on the other side, and you’re almost ready to go. Now transfer all your data to a microSD slot and wait while all those images and songs are syncing. Elegant solution, though I wouldn’t be willing to pour out more than couple dozen bucks in order to grab it in mid-June when Elan Digital Systems, the company behind Mobidapter, starts shipping it. Price is not unveiled, as you can tell…

A short video demonstration of Mobidapter in action follows after the jump.
