iphone-3g-s-shippingIf you were lucky enough to one of the first to put in an iPhone 3G S pre-order through Apple’s online storefront, you probably are already well aware that Apple has shipped your iPhone 3G S. The rest of us will have to wait with envious anxiety as we wait for Apple and AT&T stores to open their doors on iPhone 3G S launch day.

AppleInsider is reporting that some iPhone 3G S customers have already received shipment confirmations and tracking numbers from Apple. The iPhone 3G S shipments are apparently coming out of Shenzen, China. The shipments will probably need some significant transit-time, so it’s not clear if already shipped pre-orders will arrive at customers’ doorsteps prior to the iPhone 3G S’s official launch on Friday June 19th.

If you find a pretty little package containing an iPhone 3G S at your doorstep on Thursday June 18th, consider yourself part of a rare and lucky breed. Oh, and share the good news with us!
