qTweeter 2.0 released; Still requires jailbroken device

qTweeter

qTweeter — a simple Twitter client that lets you tweet from any screen on the iPhone and which we covered in the past — has been updated to version 2.0.

We’re not aware of some major new features, but the important thing is that this version can sing along the iPhone OS 3.0. Of course, you’ll still need a jailbroken device in order to post your tweets, but that’s not a problem these days.

Anyway, by looking at the qTweeter example, Apple could learn a lot. For one thing, they should open the API which would allow apps like qTweeter to work in a manner they do. Look for it in Cydia…
