Paessler’s iPRTG brings network monitoring to the iPhone, iPod Touch

iPRTG iPhone app

Paessler’s iPhone application called iPRTG is specially developed for network administrators who use (or plan to use) PRTG Network Monitor. Using the dedicated application, administrators can view the monitored environment and actively manage the monitoring — all while on-the-go.

Relevant data is acquired directly from the central PRTG server and is displayed in a format specially developed for the iPhone. Then, God forbid, if you notice something’s wrong, you can take prompt action to avoid the system downtime…

And that’s about all we can say about iPRTG. It’s one more app which proves the iPhone is more than “good enough” for serious business. Additional information is available from the “official blog post” at Paessler’s website or from the press release, and the AppStore link is here (the price is $19.99).
