T-Mobile posts Sidekick contacts recovery instructions!

Sidekick users, listen up. T-Mobile has just posted instructions on how to recover the Sidekick contacts you lost when Microsoft/Danger’s Sidekick servers decided to up and quit on you. For the first time since T-Mobile started Sidekick damage control, users can restore their contacts data by downloading the data through the My T-Mobile webpage and loading them back onto the Sidekick.

You can find T-Mobile’s instructions for restoring your contacts here. As Microsoft said previously, just about all Sidekick contact data has been recovered, but you might find that a few contacts are still missing from your Sidekick. Them’s the breaks. If, however, you find that none of your contacts are available for download, expect to see a $100 T-Mobile gift card in the mail.

As for calendar entries, pictures and the like, Microsoft/Danger says that they are continuing “efforts to recover pictures, calendar entries and to-do lists, which may be available in the future.” Cross your fingers!
