LG GT540

Almost missed this… LG has officially unveiled its second Android phone – the GT540. According to LG, this phone is centered on social networking and is in that sense ideal for the young generation of smartphone users.

Specs wise, the GT540 comes with a 3-megapixel camera with auto-focus, Android 2.0, 3.5mm headset jack, and so on. However, what’s especially interesting about the device is its attractive industrial design that features chrome-colored accents and rounded edges. Moreover, LG’s software that runs on top of Android allows customization with personalized themes and widgets.

The LG GT540 is planned to be launched globally in April 2010. Pricing is unknown at the moment…
