The Mini 3 was Dell’s first device squarely resting within the smartphone category, but their other upcoming Android handheld, the Mini 5, pushes the envelope with a 5”, 800 x 480 display, At a recent show in Switzerland, head honcho Michael Dell showed off the massive slate and confirmed that it would be available in “a couple of months”, presumably in the U.S on AT&T. Rumoured price point sits around $1,098 unsubsidized (maybe $600-$700 subsidized) – complete with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 5 megapixel camera with flash, and a forward-facing camera for video calls, unlike SOME tablets out there. The rumoured pricetag is a little hefty, and would easily be undercut by some of the stuff Archos is offering, but damn if the Mini 5 isn’t sexy enough to pull it off.
