T-Mobile Sets up Text Donations for Chile Aid

Calling all IntoMobile Readers! It’s time to do good by doing good again!

I’m sure you’re well aware of the devastating earthquake that happened in Chile over the weekend. Not only was the earthquake a MAJOR one, but as I sat and watched the news roll in, the aftershocks were relenting. Very tragic stuff for sure.

With helping out in mind, T-Mobile has stepped up to the plate to offer an EASY text-to-donate program. Of course, it’s for T-Mobile customers only, so if you’re on Magenta, please give if you can afford to. To do so, all you need to do is text ‘CHILE’ to make a $10 donation to Habitat for Humanity, World Vision, or the Salvation Army. These organizations are all non-profit, and are doing everything they can to help. Your donation will show up on your T-Mobile bill, and 100% of the donation goes to the effort.

Ready to donate? Below are your options:

  • Text the word “CHILE” to 25383 to donate $10 on behalf of Habitat for Humanity
  • Text the word “CHILE”  to 20222 to donate $10 on behalf of World Vision
  • Text the word “CHILE” to 52000 to donate $10 on behalf of the Salvation Army

T-Mobile has also noted that there will be no per-text fee for this service… If you don’t have a messaging plan, this is good news. If you do have a plan, sending the message will not count against your monthly totals. No fees = win.
