LG is out with a new device for its domestic market – LG SU420 aka Cafe Phone. Like many of the Korean high-end phones, this one also comes with a mobile TV receiver. But there’s a catch – the Cafe Phone supports the DMB 2.0 standard, which not only allows watching of TV while on the go, but also makes the experience interactive!

DMB 2.0 combines broadcasting with Internet connection, enabling users to access relevant information while watching some TV show. For instance, owners of DMB 2.0-enabled devices are able to shop stuff they see on TV, check for stock updates, weather information and so on — all while watching related content.

Specs wise, the LG SU420 rocks a 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera (coupled with front-facing camera for video calls), HSPA and WiFi connectivity, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 1250 mAh battery and a microSD memory card slot.

SK Telecom is offering the device, though unfortunately we don’t know the price. Likewise, we’ve no idea whether the Cafe Phone will ever leave the shores of Korean peninsula…
