SlingMedia is testing Symbian client

SlingMedia is testing Symbian client in betaTill Apple came on stage, carriers were the one with all the control. So it wasn’t surprising when we saw SlingPlayer for Symbian handsets released on X-Series from Hutchison 3, before the actual SlingMedia client was available to the other, non-3 users.

Now, SlingMedia started to test the generic version of its mobile client for Symbian devices in the U.S. If you’re interested to participate in a beta program, it’s required that you own either Nokia N75, E65 or N95, and that you have an unlimited data plan on AT&T or T-Mobile. Once selected, you’ll have to keep a zipped lip about confidential information, complete at least 2 short surveys, watch tons of TV on your device and of course report all the bugs and annoyances you may encounter.
