mojeo – smart bookmarks for your mobile phone

mojeoToday, I want to present you one interesting service, “smart bookmarks for your mobile phone”, mojeo. The service is created by two friends, Mike Prince and David Sutter, and allows users to flatten the web browsing experience by eliminating many forms, and turning many of the remaining forms into click-through experiences instead of field editing experiences. The end result is the highly personalized bookmark list with information based on where you are located, who you are, and what you are looking for.

To achieve its goals, mojeo partnered with 411sync, which does a reformatting of “regular” HTML pages into a form viewable on mobile phones. Furthermore, they are working with a number of carriers and software developers to ensure the best possible quality of their service.

Finally, mojeo is a free service and is mostly used by the younger population (18-35). But, they have bigger plans – mojeo wants to be the homepage on everyone’s mobile browser. I’ll keep my eyes on mojeo, and will keep you guy and gals posted. 🙂
