Again, it’s our duty to inform you about all the new things happening in the world of mobile phones, both on the low and on the high end of the spectrum. And now we have a new thing to report about the former, as Verizon added a new entry-level handset to its portfolio.
The Verizon Wireless Coupe packs all the basic phone features in a decent-looking clamshell form factor which measures 3.8×1.8×0.8 inches and weighs 3.3 ounces. In addition, the new device sports dedicated keys that provide quick access to emergency contacts (i.e. Verizon is targeting senior citizens for Coupe), as well as such pre-installed software as tip calculator, alarm clock, calendar and world clock. Nothing extra special, but then again just good enough for a $19.99 priced handset. That’s with a two-year agreement of course.
