Levi’s phone approved by the FCC; Heading to Mexico?

LeviFans of the Levi’s jeans who are not much into features will be glad to know that ModeLabs-designed and South Korea’s Ezze Mobile Tech manufactured Levi’s phone has just passed the FCC hurdle. However, it seems the famous jeans maker won’t be releasing its handset to the North American markets — the user’s manual clearly states it’s the Mexico where Levi’s sees the future for its fashionable device. Still, that doesn’t mean our readers from the U.S. and Canada will not be able to get the piece of the Levi’s mobile heritage. It just means they will have to pay a premium for the unlocked device and then use it on any of the GSM networks which works on 850 or 1900 MHz bands…
