Evernote for BlackBerry updated, too

After updating its iPhone and Android apps, Evernote is bringing its attention to the BlackBerry community. The updated application is much better, featuring the so much needed native note browsing and viewing. That means better and more consistent layout, easier navigation and faster loading — all of which ensure you’ll never jump to the mobile web interface again.

To conserve screen real estate, Evernote folks have placed many of the application functions into the menu. So, if you don’t see an option on-screen, be sure to check the menu.

In addition, there are other improvements like better search performance, improved networking in a variety of BlackBerry configurations, resolved login and permission issues, as well as many other bug fixes and improvements.

All in all, it’s a worthy update which you should grab from the BlackBerry App World right away. If it’s not on the list — simply search for Evernote — it probably doesn’t work on your particular BlackBerry model.

On the other hand, you can download Evernote manually from these three links: BlackBerry v4.5 (older Curve models), BlackBerry v4.6 (Bold, Tour) and BlackBerry v4.7 (Storm/Storm2).
