iToner updated to work with iPhone v1.1.3The thing about updating to the newest iPhone firmware is that you’ll likely have to leave behind all those snazzy third-party, jailbreak-requiring applications and you’ll likely have to do without other third-party applications until they’re updated to work with the new firmware. Such is the cat-and-mouse game that Apple insists us iPhone users play.

Well, now that the iPhone v1.1.3 firmware has been jailbroken and many Installer.app-sourced applications ported to work with the v1.1.3, we had only to wait for developers like Ambrosia Software to update their iToner ringtone maker to work with the new firmware. That day has come. Ambrosia has rolled out an iPhone v1.1.3 compatible version of their iToner software – bringing simple point-and-click ringtone uploading to the v1.1.3 crowd. The new version supports .mp3, .m4a, .wav. and .aif file types and offers other fixes and enhancements.

iToner allows you to drag-n-drop an edited MP3 or AAC file and sync it with your iPhone. A single button click uploads the audio file to the ringtone section of your iPhone.

Old iToner users will be glad to hear that their favorite ringtone application is back, new users might want to check it out. $15 buys you a ticket to the big game.
