Dusan: Welcome to the real mobile browsing! Plus, let’s all learn something from ZenZui

S60 browserI just finished reading Will’s post, and I just couldn’t help it – the real web browsing is getting to Windows Mobile. Microsoft’s strategy was always a mystery to me. After they did announce Deepfish, a year and a half after Nokia released its OSS browser.

Will, did you know that we Symbian people have been browsing real web pages for some time? No really – Nokia’s Safari-based web browser comes with all S60 3rd edition smartphones. So, if we put a year and a half in the formula, we get that Windows Mobile-based smartphones with 5 MP cameras coming in Q3 2008. 🙂

Now, let’s praise Windows a bit. I like that ZenZui and think Microsoft did the right thing for giving ZenZui team the freedom to innovate. They came up with a revolutionary UI, that I wouldn’t mind seeing on the Symbian-based smartphones.

Let’s get back to the (Symbian) news. Today we saw the Nokia 6110 Navigator passing the FCC and more leaked photos of the upcoming Sony Ericsson M610i. Plus, we saw the N96 concept dream.

Till next time, till next reply…
