Verizon is expanding its 4G LTE network to additional cities on June 16. Last week we learned that the carrier expanded its LTE network to new cities along the east coast and in the south. This time around, another group of cities are getting some blazing fast mobile broadband love on June 16. Cities included are Springfield, Ohio; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Hartford, Connecticut; Flint, Grand Rapids and Lansing, Michigan; Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Indiana; Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Verizon delivers the fastest 4G solution of the major carriers in the U.S. Its LTE speeds are faster than some home cable broadband connections, which is impressive for mobile devices such as smartphones and mobile hotspots. Video streaming, live video calls and online gaming become smoother experiences with faster download and upload times and shorter latency times.

The carrier plans on expanding its 4G LTE network all across the nation and looks to overlay its current 3G EV-DO network by the end of 2013.
