Huawei Blaze hitting UK’s Phones 4u on September 30th

Phones 4u, the UK’s mobile retailer that targets youth and “value segments,” announced that Huawei’s first own-brand smartphone, the Huawei Blaze, will go on sale from September 30th. The mid-end device will be available for 99.95 GBP (about $154) on pay as you go on a range of networks at Phones 4u.

Specs wise, the Blaze is a great device for first-time smartphone buyers with specs that include a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive curved touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel camera, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, FM radio, memory card slot, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show. What’s more, it also comes with two interchangeable covers (white and pink) inside the box.

And the Blaze is just a start – later on, Phones 4u will also add the Huawei Vision, which I personally believe is the Chinese company’s killer device that will help it get a bigger slice of the “Android pie” – though it’s not as powerful as some of today’s high-end models like the Samsung Galaxy S II or HTC Sensation…
