Aside from the FCC giving its blessing to the Eten M700 GPS smartphone, it’s been somewhat quiet on the Windows Mobile front. In the lull, we got a valuable heads-up from “The Real Hustle” team and a fresh take on Bluetooth headset design from Matthias Lange. Go check out their stuff, it could end up saving you some green. And, have you heard about Nokia lately?

I just gotta mention that Nokia saw its profits take a dip. I’m actually going to just choose to ignore the fact that they clawed up another percentage point in global market share. Dusan, you can try all you want to convince me otherwise, I am choosing to only remember the part about Nokia getting a taste of some humble pie. I hope it tasted good. 🙂

But, seriously folks, it’s nice to see that the Eten M700 has been given a thumbs-up from the FCC. There’s no official word on whether any US carrier will be picking up the GPS enabled smartphone. It’d be great to have some carrier subsidies on such a high-end (read: expensive) phone.

“The Real Hustle” team brought us some helpful tips on how to avoid getting scammed by some “wanker” con artists. Keep on your toes, you never know if that pretty girl is actually trying to pull a fast one on you!

And, Mr. Lange is working to redefine the way we view Bluetooth headsets. His organic concepts give us a stylish and non-geeky way to use our cell phones, hands-free. Sure, they’re still concepts, but I’m sure we’re all hoping that they cross over into reality.

I’m still eagerly awaiting obsessing over the Windows Mobile 6.0 upgrade for my HTC P4350. April is drawing to a close, so HTC better get on those upgrade releases if they hope to hit their April launch window.
