Deal: HTC Radar 4G for T-Mobile free for a limited time

Our friends over at WMPoweruser have spotted a great deal on a T-Mobile Windows Phone: the HTC Radar 4G can be had for free when you order online and sign up for a new, two-year contract. Not bad.

With a 3.8-inch Super LCD screen, 5-megapixel camera and a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, the Radar 4G is a powerful device that’s in a sleek little package. As you would expect from HTC, the device looks and feels like a high-quality product and the brushed aluminum backing fits comfortably in your hand. It does remind me a bit of the HTC Trophy but that’s a good thing because I felt that was a nice-looking device.

The main draw of the Radar 4G before the free pricing is that it comes with Windows Phone Mango, which is an elegant operating system that is on par with iOS and Android in terms of functionality. The Windows Phone app store is still a bit lacking compared to the competition but it will only get better with time.

In order to get the device at this price, T-Mobile says, “To qualify for the instant and Web-only discounts, you must activate the product on a new line of service with an Even More™ rate plan on a two-year service agreement. Even More™ Family Plans may qualify for up to five instant discounts.” You can order the Radar 4G for T-Mobile here.
