Like Jawbone’s JAMBOX Bluetooth speaker? If you’re not carrying it around that often, you may like the soon-to-be-announced BIG JAMBOX even more. As you can imagine from its name, the new speaker will deliver all of the benefits its smaller brother does (wireless music streaming) in a bigger package that is able to “fill up any room with unbelievable sound.”
This speaker already got FCC’s seal of approval, so I guess now it’s all about the timing, to unveil the new device at a proper time. To that end, it’s safe to bet Jawbone will use the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to show the world BIG JAMBOX for the first time.
When compared to the original JAMBOX, the new model is (as we said before) much bigger, measuring 10.1×3.2×3.7 inches (vs JAMBOX’s 6×2.2×1.6 inches) and heavier (2.7 vs 1.6 pounds). Moreover, it will come with a wall power adaptor, hinting us this bad boy isn’t meant for travelling — though you can carry it around and rely on its massive battery that delivers up to 12 hours of music streaming.
