By now we’ve seen a number of different tablet (iPad) stands, but as these guys would put it, most of them are made for flat surfaces. As a result, they are unsuitable for the places we most frequently use tablets like couches, beds and other cushioned surfaces. Moreover, many of these stands also suffer from a lack of portability.

Enter tablift, a soon-to-be-launched tablet stand which is currently trending at Kickstarter, from where you can get it for $55 (or more). Although it’s designed to work with the Apple iPad, tablift can also house pretty much any tablet, including those made by Asus, Samsung, Toshiba and others.

It comes with four individually flexible legs which keep your iPad/tablet stabilized and in an optimal viewing position, ensuring that your neck and back can relax while eliminating the pain associated with poor posture when using a tablet for an extended period of time.

tablift is also a travel friendly accessory that can fold down to a compact size so you can pop it in a bag or purse… Pretty cool, right? You can secure your unit from this page at Kickstarter.
