Samsung working on two dual-core Windows Phone 8 devices - Odyssey and Marco

Samsung will be one of Microsoft’s partner for the Windows Phone 8 launch. In a document submitted as part of the Apple vs Samsung trial, Samsung shows its plans for two Windows Phone 8 devices, codenamed “Odyssey” and “Marco.” We haven’t been able to check out those docs, but according to The Verge they say that both devices will rock Qualcomm’s MSM8960 dual-core chipset, clocked at 1.5GHz.

Odyssey will be a better phone, sporting an 8-megapixel camera, 4.65-inch Super AMOLED screen with HD resolution, NFC capability along with support for Microsoft’s upcoming Wallet Hub and Tap + Send features. The Marco, on the other hand, is more of a mid-ranger that packs a 4-inch S-AMOLED display with WVGA resolution and 5-megapixel camera on the back. Both devices will be LTE-enabled and unveiled at some point in the fourth quarter of the year, most likely when Windows Phone 8 officially launches. We’ll see…
