Well what do you know – Samsung and LG won’t be the only phablet makers for so long with HTC planning to join the party soon and launch a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note and LG Optimus Vu. We don’t have all the information at the moment, but we do know few details. For instance, it is said that the forthcoming device will rock a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) screen and most likely a dual/quad-core processor under the hood, depending whether it’s sold in the U.S. or elsewhere — U.S. version will probably sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 SoC to sing along LTE networks.

As for the rest of the specs, we don’t have a clue what to expect. Still it’s safe to bet there will be dual cameras with the one on the back most likely relying on an 8-megapixel sensor, as well as a standard set of sensors for location, proximity, position and so on.

Release date is also unknown though I guess we’ll get additional details in the next few days or weeks. Stay tuned in the meantime…
