Fujitsu Stylistic M532 tablet goes on sale for $549, runs Android 4.0 on a Tegra 3 quad-core processor

Fujitsu has made available its Stylistic M532 Android tablet on its website. The M532 is powered by Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) and it carries a price tag of $549. Features on the Stylistic include a 10.1-inch IPS screen with a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, eight-megapixel rear camera, along with a two-megapixel front-facing camera.

I know, these specs are decent, but it’s nothing to scream about when compared to recent tablets that have been released. However, the Stylistic M532 has some other things you need to know about it, like the fact that it has been tested to military durability standards (MIL-STD-810G). What’s also interesting about the slate is how light it is, as it only weighs 1.23 pounds. This is pretty light when you compare it to the most popular tablet on the market (the new iPad), which weighs 1.44 pounds. Battery life is also impressive, touting 8.4 hours of video playback according to the specs on Fujitsu’s website.

That being said, the price tag is a bit much, but if you’re a nut when it comes to buying devices that are durable, then $549 shouldn’t faze you. If you’re thinking of splurging, hit the source link below.
