Cricket has added another Android smartphone to its portfolio – LG Optimus Regard. The low-to-mid end device has somewhat strange specs, combining a 3.5-inch HVGA (320×480 pixels) screen with 1.2GHz dual-core processor, making for a snappy phone performance (since the same CPU is usually used with WVGA screens).

In addition, the Optimus Regard also packs a 5-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing one, 1GB of RAM, 4G LTE connectivity support (alongside CDMA), Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and 8GB of built-in storage which is further expandable with microSD memory cards.

All this could be yours for $249.99 without putting your signature on any paper. Then again, you’ll still need some minutes, texts and data, and will have to select one of Cricket’s smartphone plans.

Presuming you like the LG Optimus Record you can get it from this page at Cricket’s website… or from one of their stores. It’s your call…
