We all expect to see the next Galaxy S smartphone unveiled later this year. And while we do know what to expect, specs wise — things like a 5-inch full HD screen, 2 GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera and a ton of built-in storage — we still don’t have all the information. For instance, we don’t know the model number of the Galaxy S IV. However, a new tidbit of information caught at Samsung’s Global Download Center may provide us with the answer to that question. You see, a device with the model number GT-i9500 was spotted on the site and we have reasons to believe this will be Sammy’s new flagship product: the original Galaxy S was marked as i9000, the Galaxy S II as i9100 and Galaxy S III as i9300. So the i9500 could easily be the Galaxy S IV, right?

Unfortunately, we don’t have any of the specs confirmed and we’ll rather have to wait for another few months to get all the answers. We will, however, let you know as soon as we hear anything new regarding the next Galaxy S smartphone. Stay tuned in the meantime…
