DubMeNow Automatically Updates Mobile Contacts, Extinctifies Business Cards

Now here’s something cool. If there’s one thing I learned from Mobile World Congress, it’s that having a stack of business cards to chew through and follow up with after the show is a huge pain in the ass. DUB undercuts all of that by transmitting contact information by e-mail and SMS so that new contacts aren’t only automatically imported into your phone’s address book after a simple request through their mobile app, but it will also update as your contact’s information changes. Awesome. For icing on the cake, you can plug in Google Maps information so you can remember when and where you met each of your contacts – certainly a challenge for the modern conference warrior.

Multiple invites to contact are available through Twitter and group options are also available, alongside CRM integration with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Sugar CRM and Siebel. These guys were also smart enough to launch on almost every smartphone platform: Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, iPhone, Android, and Symbian is on the way. For those looking for some deep enterprise integration shook look into DUB PRO. The only thing stopping me from picking this up right now is that it’s only functioning in the U.S. Boo Seems to have downloaded hunky-dory; try it in your country and see if it works. Dub is free, so go ahead and download it by going to www.DUBMeNow.com on your mobile browser.
