JAJAH announced that it is bringing its mobile VoIP offering to the users of Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and Symbian-based smartphones. The new services remind on JAJAH’s earlier iPod Touch offering and are offered as white label solution to enable carriers and non-carriers to launch the service under their own brand.

JAJAHLet’s see how JAJAH is integrated with each of the platforms:

  • JAJAH for BlackBerry adds “JAJAH Call” to the phonebook menu. Simply click on the contact name and select the option and the phone call is initiated. Alternatively, you can open the JAJAH application and type in the phone number.
  • JAJAH for Symbian S60 devices automatically detects the presence of a WiFi network and offers the choice to use JAJAH when a long distance phone number is dialed. Again, the JAJAH call be initiated either manually or via the address book.
  • JAJAH for Windows Mobile is a full SIP over HSDPA/WiFi mobile VoIP solution. Currently deployed by Japan’s eMobile, it “turns any device into a fully functioning VoIP phone.”

JAJAH’s platform incorporates everything a company would need to launch the service immediately under their own brand — including the application itself, plus the entire suite of management services, from termination of the calls and quality control, right through to billing and processing payments in 200 countries around the world…
