There seems to be quite a buzz this morning around the Motorola Touch Zine HD. Dusan already touched on this bad boy earlier, and he too wondered if this was the real deal or simply a photoshop job. He’s not alone in wondering that. We also received an email from Silver over at AndroPhones this morning making a case for why this is clearly a fake… Silver contests the Touch Zine is simply a compilation of the ROKR E8 and MOTOZINE ZN5. Check out the image above and the design cues listed below that lead Silver to believe the device is a fake.

FRONT:

  • the same shape, only wider;
  • same glare on the frame;
  • same top;
  • same mic hole;
  • bad cloning on the right bottom corner.

BACK:

  • the back itself is obviously the back of the ROKR E8 only wider;
  • camera from the MOTOZINE ZN5, you can see same light angle hitting the small red led;
  • flash from the MOTOZINE ZN5, same angle lighting on the yellow lamp and on the flash itself;
  • same 5.0 megapixels xenon flash text;
  • same Motorola logo, with a light blending.

That’s a lot of similarities 🙂 What do you think?
