Evernote for iPhone updated

My favorite note taking tool, Evernote, has updated its iPhone app with tons of new and useful features. Let’s quickly go through all the enhancements that Evernote 2.0 for iPhone is bringing:

  • Landscape support – meaning that you can browse and read your notes in a landscape mode, which could come very handy with images.
  • Thumbnail view – best used with in the landscape mode. In a nutshell – side-scrolling rocks this way: tap on a note to access it, or hold your finger to get a quick zoom.
  • Favorites sorting – now when you click “edit,” you can not only delete notes from the section, but also sort them out. Those not familiar should know that once a note has been set as a favorite, you can access it even while offline.
  • Embedded browser – when you click on a link in a note, Evernote won’t open Safari, but an internal browser, without leaving the app. Much faster!

Those were the major improvements. In addition, Evernote made sure their app is way more polished now, hence it loads quicker, geo-tagging is more accurate, photo attaching is speedier, and support for favorites improved. In a nutshell – you gotta update! The AppStore link remains the same. 😉
