Nokia is estimating mobile phone user numbers in China will pass the 500 mln mark in 2007.

The Finnish-based firm said in a statement that it also sees the ratio of replacement buyers growing from around 60 pct of the total handset device market, to over 80 pct, by 2010.

China is the world’s largest mobile-phone market, with 449.02 million users as of the end of October, according to government data.
