samsung-magnet-attWhen it comes to convenient text messaging, nothing beats a full QWERTY keyboard. When it comes to affordable messaging phones, it’ll be hard to beat the new AT&T Samsung Magnet. AT&T has just announced the launch of the Samsung Magnet for all you text messaging fiends on a budget.

We first put hands on the Samsung Magnet at CTIA Las Vegas 2009, and came away impressed by the comfortable keyboard and slim package. The Samsung Magnet isn’t going to help you run your business on the road, but if you’re in the market for a text-messaging powerhouse of a phone with a reasonable price-tag, the Magnet fits the bill quite nicely. The Magnet boasts a VGA camera and Bluetooth – which isn’t exactly anything to write home about, but still good to have. We’re also digging the bright orange color scheme.

AT&T is now offering the Samsung Magnet at select AT&T retail stores and through AT&T’s online storefront. The Samsung Magnet is priced at $19.99 with new 2-year contract and after rebate.
