Belkin TuneBase product

Belkin has recently announced two new products – TuneBase FM and TuneBase Direct, both which allow users to pick up a call on their iPhones while in the car, hands-free, without removing an iPhone or iPod from its case.

TuneBase Direct connects to the car audio system using the standard 3.5mm audio cable, while TuneBase FM does the same thing via FM radio frequencies. Both devices can also be used for charging an iPhone/iPod while on the road. Moreover, both TuneBase FM and TuneBase Direct fade out music when call comes in.

As for the availability and pricing, the TuneBase FM will start selling in the U.S. starting from mid-July for $89.99, while TuneBase Direct is hitting the U.S. stores in early June, when interested users will be able to grab it for $69.99. Both devices are already available in the EU.
