Despite the fact that Sony Ericsson effectively killed UIQ, Hungary-based CellPhoneSoft believes existing smartphone owners shouldn’t be abandoned. In that sense, they have released an updated version of their composite system utility called Swiss Manager Elite 2.00.

Swiss Manager EliteWe’re talking about a major upgrade from the previous release, Swiss Manager Pro, that adds lots of new functionality. Like its predecessor, it’s a suit of apps, providing task management, file navigation, and system information services — all in one application.

Among the new features included in Swiss Manager Elite 2.00 are:

  • Overhauled interface with hierarchical arrangement.
  • Full listing of running and available applications and processes.
  • The most detailed system information on market.
  • Dual panel file navigator providing fast and convenient file operations.
  • Improved cleanup engine for more free memory than ever before.
  • Fully customizable Favorite list for convenient application launch.
  • Recent list providing automated access to the most frequently used programs.
  • Key-press shortcuts for all major functions.
  • A plethora of new services, like autostart, hot-key invoke, backlight setting, time synchronization, shortcut button configuration, phone restart, and much more.
  • Many new options for full customization and convenient use.

Swiss Manager Elite works on Sony Ericsson UIQ3 phones, only, and since it’s a major update, serial numbers for the earlier Pro version can not be used to register Elite…
