UK: New 3G MVNO Aggregator: x-Mobility

3G.co.uk is reporting that there is a new MVNA (Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator) in the UK market, riding on top of the 3UK network. Its name: x-Mobility Limited.

x-Mobility is saying that they can get MVNOs up and running on an Operator much quicker than going direct to the Operator itself – quite a statement, but they do have quite a range of services, including branding (SIM and device), customer and billing services, and also number porting – pretty much what you need as an MNO in fact!

Well I am not planning to launch an MVNO (for now….), but if I were then these guys definitely seem like they’d be worth a look! On a marginally more serious note, we are going to see more and more of this stratification of services as time goes on, and MNOs look for ways to eke out extra revenues.
