WaveSense Diabetes Manager

AgaMatrix, the company behind the WaveSense line of blood glucose monitoring products, is ready to ride the iPhone wave. For that purpose they released the WaveSense Diabetes Manager, an electronic diabetes logbook software.

From their press release, we read it’s the first such app for the iPhone, and that it has been in development and testing for over a year. Feature wise, WaveSense Diabetes Manager comes with:

  • Easy-to-use data entry
  • Dynamic graphing of glucose data
  • Automatic mealtime tagging of results
  • Integrated food intake, activity, and medication data management
  • Insulin dosage management
  • Statistical analysis of glucose results
  • Integrated emailing of results
  • On-screen help menus
  • User-personalizable settings

Finally, AgaMatrix said the WaveSense Diabetes Manager is the first in the series of apps which will take advantage of the iPhone and other mobile platforms to assist people with diabetes in the management of their disease… The application is free and you can grab it from here.
